Forget that over-contoured look and follow these tips for a natural, sun-kissed glow.
Unless you’re going to be appearing in front of a high-def camera, super defined contouring can make you look a bit…unnatural. A softer and simpler sun-kissed glow can be accomplished with the right amount of bronzer applied in all the right places.
Pick a bronzer that fits your skin type and color. For normal to oily skin, a bronzing powder works the best. For dry to dull skin, bronzing creams are ideal. Choose a shade that’s only a bit darker than your natural skin tone to avoid the fake-n-bake look.
A bronzer alone (on top of foundation and concealer, of course) won’t look completely natural without a bit of blush. Choose a peach or pink toned blush to apply in a circular motion on just the apples of your cheeks.
Apply a powder bronzer using a fluffy brush, sweeping it back and forth in the hollows of your cheeks. Then, lightly sweep the brush along the outer sides of your upper forehead and along your hairline. The key to looking sunkissed and natural is to blend! Use a kabuki brush to go over your whole face to make sure the texture is smooth and natural.
Complete your sun-kissed glow by misting your entire face with a good quality finishing mist to set your makeup. A mist will also prevent your bronzer from melting and rubbing off, providing a shimmery finish for a natural, healthy, glow.
